PDCA 20th Annual Design and Installation of Cost Efficient Piles

The Pile Driving Contractors Association (PDCA) is pleased to announce the 20th Annual Design and Installation of Cost-Efficient Piles (DICEP) Conference scheduled for November 5-6, 2019, in Cleveland, OH. The theme of this year's DICEP conference is "Deep Foundations, Earth Retention, and the Benefits of the Driven Pile."
WHO: The conference is designed for geotechnical, structural, and civil engineers; general and sub-contractors; and other firms or individuals who conduct business, support, or are associated with the deep foundations, earth retention and/or the driven pile industry.
WHAT: The conference will consist of keynote presentations, case histories, and technical presentations addressing the conference theme. Varied presentation lengths will be considered, between 15 - 60 minutes, and will be determined based on presentation flow, content relevance, and PDH requirements.

WHEN: Monday, November 4th (Pre-Conference Course), Tuesday, November 5th (Full Day) and Wednesday, November 6th (Half Day)

PRESENTATIONS: PDCA is seeking presentations that follow the conference theme and appeal to contractors and engineers alike. Presentation topics may include mega projects, local/regional projects, value engineering and effective design, sustainability and environmental impacts in infrastructure development. Share your experiences, observations and accomplishments.
SUBMITTAL PROCESS: Interested presenters should submit a brief abstract (up to 400 words) describing the content and length of their proposed presentations, and a minimum of two audience take-aways. Abstracts should include full name(s), credentials, affiliations, contact information and email addresses for all authors. You may also complete the online Presentation Abstract Submission Form HERE and submit to PDCA.
TIMELINE: All Abstracts for consideration are requested by July 22, 2019. PDCA Education Committee will review all submissions and notice of presentation acceptance or regret by PDCA staff will be sent no later than August 5, 2019. Selected presenters will work with PDCA staff to finalize and submit full presentations by October 7, 2019.
